Haïku Films is a Short and Feature Film Production Company.
So far, Haïku Films has produced over 25 short films, fictions, documentaries and animation films, which were featured in the biggest film festivals (Semaine de la Critique, Brive, Clermont-Ferrand, Angers, Silhouette, Pantin, La Cabina, Winterthur, Go Short, among others) as well as 6 feature films, such as Smalltown Boys by Gaël Lépingle (2023), Spare Keys by Jeanne Aslan and Paul Saintillan (2023), winner of a dozen festival prizes including the New Directors Grand Prix at the San Sebastian Festival in 2022, and And Tomorrow the entire world, presented in official competition at the 77th Venice International Film Festival and Treasure which premiered at the Berlinale 2024, both directed by Julia von Heinz, co-produced with Seven Elephants (Germany).
At Haïku, we favor innovative projects, which make sure not to reduce the intricacy of the world around us. This desire in no way contradicts that of pleasing the viewer, quite the opposite. Above all, it aims to give the viewer the role we ourselves like to take on when discovering a movie, that of a spectator whom the film questions without dictating what they should think or feel.
